FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How long are the Physical Therapy sessions?
The PT sessions (initial evaluation and follow up treatments) generally range from 50-60 minutes.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, there is a cancellation policy for cancellations occurring in less than 24 hrs prior to scheduled appointment time. The fee is $50 for a late cancel; similarly, for no-show appointments there is a $75 fee.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit card, debit card, cash, venmo and checks. You can also pay with your HSA or FSA account, and I'd be happy to provide you with a superbill if you need to submit to your employer.
Do I need a Physical Therapy prescription or referral from a doctor?
In New York State, there is a law called direct access which means that you can be seen by a licensed PT (with >3 years of experience) without a physician prescription or referral for 10 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first. After that point, you will be required to get a prescription or referral from your physician.
Do I need to bring anything to my first visit?
Please bring filled out paperwork, physician referral/prescription if you have one, and any diagnostic imaging you have had (including x-ray, MRI).
Please wear loose fitting athletic clothes, and sports bra for women/girls.
